call their nation or the country bad.

but

If somebody else call bad to their nation or country

They feel bad and start fighting

This is a natural behavior of Human

They can't hear anything bad about their nation or country

Today I'll talk about Nationalism and Nationalism Ideology

Let's start it!

Nationalism was started from Europe in 1848

Where, Different countries wanted to have their own Identity in the world

These countries included Germany and Italy

The British and intellectuals of that time had a big hand in spreading Nationalism

When they saw people making their own symbols with their flags, national anthems and flags

And a huge number of people are adopting it.

Nationalism is a thought that says

"Some people who have same Culture, Language, History and have same thoughts"

They want people like us in this country

They join us and together we make our rule.

Now when they rule, they love their country as much

Now, here

Their love is filled as much to country.

which we call "PATRIOTISM"

Let's talk about word "Nationalism"

"NATIONALISM" word came from "Nation"

Which means [Tribe, People]

The American philosopher Hans Cohen wrote in 1944

The word "NATIONALISM" was first used in 1844

Since its concept is older than this

It's concept was introduced in about 17th century

and

in 19th century Nationalism meaning was to be taken as bad word.

The concept of "Nationalism" was left wing.

at the time of French Revolutions and French Revolutions Time.

The intention of which was to put Civic Nationalism, that is all Nation should stay together,

and persuade them to stay together.

Countries that support nationalism include

France, Russia, Latin America, Germany

Italy, Greece, Serbia, Poland and

Blah Blah

further, Nationalism is spreading in third world

with its Nationalist Ideology which includes

Africa Nationalism

Arab Nationalism

India Nationalism

and

Chinese Nationalism

Now I'll talk about "Nationalism Ideology"

Nationalism Ideology or Nationalism Movement says

A particular nation or group of people

Which should be specially ordered to save their fundamental rights

on their Homeland

Nationalism Ideology also says

that every nation should have the right to

Govern itself.

Only nation can understand their need

Nationalism Ideology is an Official state ideology

or may be a non-state movement and can be

expressed on the bases of

Civic, Ethnic, Cultural, Language

Religious OR Ideological lines

Which clearly means

A nation should have a right to make decisions on State level

Who have common Culture, Language and Geographical region

Nationalists believe that they have to make their country grow the most in the world.

Always be ready for every sacrifice.

Which shows a patriotism

Which means

That they will always be together

in front of enemy in every battleground.

Now, let's talk about Advantages and Disadvantages of Nationalism

Advantages

Unity in the groups even in diversity

Support each other even in difficult circumstances.

Duty to "NATION" above all

In any case, you have to protect your "NATION"

PATRIOTISM

love for the country

Pride in belonging to the "NATION"

Proud to be a part of the nation

Working together for the motherland even when living in a different country

working for own motherland whether living in different country

Disadvantages

Thinking for only own "NATION" without any concern for the country actually living in

Thinking only for the "NATION", No care for the country

In some case going to extreme left or right fringes in the name of security of "NATION"

In some cases, they switch to extreme left and right wing. so that, only their "NATION" benefit.

Sometimes, creating intolerance

for other countries going to the extent of extreme hatred

for the people of another country

Sometimes they have hatred in their hearts for other countries which are not good for their nation.

Have prejudice about others

Prejudice against others

Insulting and hurting others nationalities,

religion,

social and

Cultures

They do not treat other peoples as good
